22 April 2009
page one of two

The Indian River Land Trust toured Treasure Hammock Ranch on a bright, warm morning in April. Having played an important role in helping the Ranch gain its conservation easement, Trust members are occasionally treated to visits to the Ranch to enjoy the scenery and learn more about the Ranch and what the Land Trust is doing.

BELOW: Cars make for an odd sight in a pasture usually filled with cows.

Tour members gather around the pickup to hear Sean Sexton welcome them to the Ranch. Ken Grudens, Executive Director of the Indian River Land Trust, makes a short presentation before the tour.
Tour members in the barn listening to Sean Sexton talk about the history of the Ranch. Old pickup truck with old metal gate.
The tour stops to look at the sale bulls.
