| A long, hot, and dusty day begins in the cow pens to work the remaining herds missed on 19 & 20 February 2009. This herd is penned and the calves parted out. |  |

With the cows and bulls parted out, the calves are examined, above right, to see which will be surgically castrated and which will be kept as bulls. |

The entire herd is run through the chutes and dewormed. |
